Arcanoid on line Ο παίκτης στο Arcanoid, ελέγχει το “Vaus” ένα διαστημόπλοιο το οποίο συμπεριφέρεται σαν βάση, που προστατέυει τη μπάλα να πέσει κάτω από το χώρο του παιχνιδιού, προσπαθώντας να “χτυπάει” τα τουβλάκια που βρίσκονται στο πάνω μέρος της οθόνης.
